Tri-County Health Department will be at Maysville R-1 School on Tuesday April 11th at 1pm for the 7th and 11th grade students who need updated immunizations for the upcoming 2023-24 school year.  


Prom

The Junior-Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Missouri Western State University. Detailed invitations will be sent to students and staff with more details by April 1st. 

Preschool program will be Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:00

Maysville R-1 Mass Media program recognized for dynamic and engaging yearbook.

Maysville--September 12, 2022– Jostens, the leading producer of yearbooks and student-created content, today announced that Maysville R-I’s yearbook program has achieved the Jostens 2022 National Yearbook Program of Excellence award at the Silver Level. The National Yearbook Program of Excellence recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students develop 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy.  

The Maysville R-1 award-winning 2022 yearbook program was led by Isabella Wagers, Editor, Ashley Brown, Braelyn Windham, Aleah Mason, Mirabella Redman, Hayley Sweiger, Brinley Shelman, Cadence Boyer, Colton Morris, Claire Renfro, Kaylee Graham, and Hailey LeMunyon under the direction of Mrs. Randi McMillen, Maysville R-I yearbook adviser. About Us

Maysville High School has been in existence for more than 100 years.  The first graduating class was in the year of 1890.  This appears to have been a two-year high school.  In 1892, a three-year course was offered; eight students graduated.  The first group to graduate from the four-year course was in 1904 when five students graduated.

First place at Powerlifting Competition in the Push-Pull Powersports category

Aidan Rogers, Senior, competed in the Natural Athlete Strength Association's Missouri State Powerlifting Competition held at Trenton High School on Mar. 4th Aidan received 1st. Place in her weight class for the Push-Pull Powersports Competition.
