The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released the annual performance report (APR) data for all public and charter school districts in the state of Missouri for the 2024-2025 school year on November 6, 2025. The report includes evaluation of school districts through academic performance, academic growth, ACT, ASVAB, attendance rate, graduation rate, college credit earned by high school students, compliance, and other categories.
The Maysville R-1 School District scored 87.7% of all possible points. This is the best score earned by Maysville since 2022. We are proud to share that Maysville finished with the second highest percentage of all the GRC members, and 104th out of the 553 districts in the state of Missouri. This places Maysville in the top 20% of all districts in the state.
This score serves as a strong endorsement for the district and celebration of the efforts of all stakeholders within Maysville. The collective efforts of students, teachers, support staff, administrators, school board members, community members, and family members that support the Maysville educational process are to be commended.
We are appreciative of the great performances by our students and staff. We also recognize our areas for improvement while working to maintain our areas of strength to provide an even better educational experience in the future.
GO WOLVERINES!
